“In 2014 I read a letter from a Brazilian teen to her mother, written before taking her own life – ashamed after a sex tape was leaked. The letter was as an apology and a farewell. I was reduced to tears. This response inspired me to create Luna. ”
Luana and Emilia meet on the first day of their senior year at High School. The promise of an intense, fun and fiery friendship is interrupted by the leak of a sex tape on social media.
Luana steps into an oppressive reality, lonely and isolated, she chooses to be confrontational and audacious in her response to the world around her.
